How Truthseekers Works

Truthseekers International ministers on several fronts.  Our recent activities include:

Literature – Ongoing publishing work about their research on India’s historical connection to monotheism and the Christian faith.  This includes the publication and distribution of 10,000 copies of a New Testament paraphrase translated into language understandable to the average lowered-caste Indian.

Truthseekers Center – This Center in Delhi is a safe place for people from different castes (normally sworn enemies) to meet, fellowship, build relationships, share meals, and hear about Christ.

Reconciliation – Major reconciliation retreats for lowered-caste leaders, which have so far involved more than 500 participants.  This kind of cross-caste fellowship and cooperation has never before happened in India’s history.

Relationship Building – Intensive, ongoing outreach to the leaders of major castes and other reform groups.  All told, Truthseekers is currently in relationship with caste and reform leaders who collectively represent over 250 million Indians, and many of these leaders have become Truthseekers.

Education – Establishment and support for neighborhood schools to educate OBC, Dalit, and tribal children who, while legally entitled to education in India, are usually left to fend for themselves.

Footwashing Rallies – In November and March high-caste Indian believers and Westerners enter lowered-caste neighborhoods, share the love of Christ, and kneel down and wash the feet of men, women, and children who are otherwise considered to be polluters of higher-caste people.

Decisions to follow Christ are being made by major lowered-caste leaders.  These decisions are respected by their own people and are generating influence for the message of Christ into their respective castes; the lack of opposition to this Christward movement amongst caste leaders is unprecedented!
