Over seven hundred million Indian people are members of a low caste.

Although the caste system is now technically illegal by the constitution, its influence still runs deep in the lives, minds, and hearts of the Indian people. For thousands of years the caste system has denied the basic rights of the majority and set up a system of convenience for the elite minority. Throughout the ages there have been speakers of truth in India who have come to point the way to freedom. Jotirao Phule was one such speaker.

"But later on one great champion of the downtrodden, the Holiest of the Holy, the Great Sage and lover of Truth, Bali Raja (Jesus Christ) came into this world and gave of true and holy knowledge and had granted everyone an equal right to eat. He undertook the task of releasing the poor, oppressed, brethren from the bondage of slavery like the Brahmanism, and strove to establish the kingdom of God on earth."

• The Truthseekers Society was originally founded in the 1800's by a man known as the Martin Luther of India, Mahatma Jotirao Phule.
• Phule fought against the injustices towards the lower caste and Dalit (untouchable) people. He understood that love, equality, freedom and dignity can only be found in Jesus Christ.
• In the dawn of this new century, God is renewing the vision of a casteless India in which the love of Christ transforms lives and restores dignity.
• God's vision for the nation is to reconcile all peoples to Himself through the person of Yeshua. This is prophesied in Scripture.
