Women’s Empowerment

 There is a small, but growing, movement of women in Truthseekers who seek to support and encourage one another spiritually and practically as they live their lives in very oppressive situations. In the general culture, women are believed to have very low status – even high caste women are thought to be lower than the lowest caste men. 

Women in the Truthseekers movement are discovering the Truth, that God created them in His image, and loves them equally as much as any man. Women are supporting one another and coming together in faith communities. One such community is in Northern Delhi and is led by Kanta Bhirao. She and her band of ladies are reaching out to their community and families, praying for healing and restoration of dignity for all – men, women and children.
